The Maldives Digital Service (MDS), under the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology, in collaboration with the World Bank, successfully hosted the Maldives Digital Summit 2026 from 27–29 April 2026 at Barceló Nasandhura Hotel, Malé.
The summit brought together government leaders, international experts, development partners, and policymakers to discuss the future of digital transformation in the Maldives and advance the Maldives 2.0 Vision. Conducted under the Digital Maldives for Adaptation, Decentralization and Diversification (DMADD) Project, the event focused on strengthening Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), including digital identity, data exchange platforms, and citizen-centric public services.
